Moldavite from the Silazka (or Nesměň-Silazka) locality in the Czech Republic is highly regarded by collectors for its distinct, often sculptural, and deeply etched, spiky appearance. This specific region in Southern Bohemia produces some of the most sought-after, high-quality, and richly textured tektite specimens, often appearing as compact, dark green, or olive-green, "hedgehog" shapes

While places like Chlum produce a higher volume of moldavite, Silazka specimens are relatively limited and highly valued by collectors for their unique aesthetic.
