Moldavites from Maruškovo Pole (Marousek's Field), situated within the famous Ločenice municipality in South Bohemia, are highly celebrated among mineralogists for their remarkably raw, character-rich earthy forms and striking color profiles.
This specific locality is historic, with many classic specimens originally unearthed during the peak agricultural and field-picking eras of the late 20th century.
Key Characteristics of Maruškovo Pole Moldavites:
"Poison Green" to Yellowish-Green Hues: These specimens frequently exhibit a uniquely vibrant, highly translucent poison-green or rich yellowish-green color that glows intensely under backlighting.
Earthy, Organic Sculptation: Rather than uniform spikes, stones from Maruškovo Pole generally display a broad, organically shaped body with deep, chaotic etching and prominent fluid flow-textures. Some rare pieces from this sector even present a dense "super hedgehog" jagged profile.
