Moldavites from the Nesměň Forest (also spelled Nesmen or Nesměň Les) are highly prized by collectors for their distinctively deep, spiky, and intricate surface textures. While many moldavites from other localities like Chlum are known for smoother surfaces, the Nesměň locality—specifically the forested area—is famous for specimens with "hedgehog" (ježkovna) morphology, characterized by sharp ridges and leafy etching.  

As far as their colour is concerned, they typically display a vibrant olive-green or light forest green tone with excellent translucency. 

Some rare Nesměň specimens, such as this one, are classified as "Angel Chimes," which produce a high-pitched, metallic ringing sound when dropped onto a hard surface due to internal stresses and their unique shape. 

Because of their rarity and aesthetic appeal, Nesměň moldavites often command higher prices than those from more common localities.
